Structural Fitter

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Structural Fitter to join our team. The Structural Fitter will be responsible for fitting, assembling, and installing structural components for various projects, ensuring that all materials are aligned and prepared to meet the specifications. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in structural fitting, be knowledgeable in reading blueprints and technical drawings, and have a commitment to delivering quality work.

Responsibilities

• • Interpret and analyze blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine layout and assembly processes

• • Accurately measure and cut structural materials (steel, aluminum, etc.) to required dimensions

• • Assemble structural components, including beams, columns, and frames, using bolts, welds, or other fastening methods

• • Position, align, and secure components and assemblies using clamps, bolts, or other mechanical means

• • Ensure the accuracy and quality of fittings, ensuring all work is completed to project specifications

• • Utilize hand tools and mechanical devices to fit structural elements

• • Collaborate with other tradespeople (e.g., welders, engineers, and project managers) to ensure timely project completion

• • Perform routine inspections and maintenance on fitting tools and equipment

• • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times

• • Perform any additional tasks as required by project leads or supervisors.

Requirements

• • 2+ years of experience as a Structural Fitter

• • Must hold a valid Structural Fitter Certification

• • Legally authorized to work in the USA

• • Able to pass a Drug and Alcohol Test
