QA/QC

We are seeking a qualified QA/QC to join our team. The QA/QC will be responsible for inspecting, ensuring quality control, and verifying that piping systems meet required standards, codes, and specifications. This role combines pipe fitting knowledge with quality assurance and control techniques, ensuring all installations and repairs are completed to the highest standards of workmanship and safety. The ideal candidate will have experience in pipe fitting, QA/QC processes, and be proficient in using industry-standard testing and inspection tools.

Responsibilities

• • Inspect and verify the installation of piping systems, fittings, valves, and related components against technical drawings and specifications.

• • Ensure all materials and components used are compliant with quality standards, codes, and project specifications.

• • Conduct visual inspections and tests (pressure tests, leak tests, dimensional checks) to verify the integrity and functionality of the installed systems.

• • Review and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings, ensuring that installation processes meet the required specifications.

• • Identify and resolve any quality issues, discrepancies, or defects in the installed systems, making necessary corrections to ensure compliance.

• • Coordinate with engineers, supervisors, and other team members to ensure the correct interpretation of drawings and specifications.

• • Ensure that all safety protocols and industry standards are adhered to during installations and inspections.

• • Perform final checks and documentation for completed projects, verifying that all work complies with company and regulatory standards.

• • Conduct routine maintenance and calibration of quality control testing tools and equipment.

• • Report any deviations from specifications, safety issues, or quality concerns to the supervisor or project manager.

• • Monitor ongoing work to ensure continuous adherence to quality standards.

Skills

• • Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and isometric drawings.

• • Strong understanding of pipe fitting techniques and quality control practices.

• • Knowledge of industry standards, codes, and regulations related to pipe fitting and QA/QC inspections.

• • Experience with pressure testing, leak testing, and other inspection processes for piping systems.

• • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies or issues early.

• • Ability to communicate effectively with the team, supervisors, and clients regarding quality standards and issues.

Requirements

• • +2 years of experience as a QA/QC.

• • Strong knowledge of welding and pipe fitting standards and techniques.

• • Legally authorized to work in the USA.

• • Able to pass Drug and Alcohol Test.

• • Strong commitment to safety protocols and quality standards.
