Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Assistant Assembler to join our workshop team. The Assistant Assembler will support the assembly process by assisting with the preparation, assembly, and inspection of components and finished products. The ideal candidate will have basic knowledge of welding tools, a strong work ethic, the ability to follow instructions precisely, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the assembly of components and products according to technical specifications and assembly instructions.
  • Use hand tools, power tools, and machinery to assemble parts, ensuring accurate and efficient assembly.
  • Prepare and organize materials and components required for assembly, ensuring they are readily available and properly handled.

  • Utilize basic welding tools, such as welders and cutting equipment, to support welding tasks as needed under supervision.
  • Assist in setting up and maintaining welding equipment, including ensuring tools are clean and in good working condition.
  • Report any issues or defects to the assembly supervisor or quality control personnel and assist in corrective actions.

  • Maintain and clean assembly and welding tools and equipment to ensure they are in good working condition.
  • Assist in routine maintenance tasks and report any equipment malfunctions or issues to the supervisor.

  • Follow all safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Adhere to workshop safety procedures and guidelines, including proper handling and storage of materials and tools.
  • Communicate effectively about project status, challenges, and requirements with team members and supervisors.

Skills:

  • Basic knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and assembly techniques.
  • Basic knowledge of welding tools and equipment.
  • Ability to read and follow assembly instructions and technical specifications.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Requirements:

  • +2 years experience
  • Legally authorized to work in the USA.
  • Able to pass Drug and Alcohol Test.
