Vessel Welder

We are looking for a skilled Vessel Welder to join our team. The Vessel Welder will be responsible for welding and fabricating various types of vessels, such as tanks, pressure vessels, and containers, used in industries like manufacturing, chemical processing, or oil and gas. The role requires expertise in welding techniques, adherence to safety standards, and a focus on precision and quality.

Responsibilities: 

• Perform welding operations on vessels and related components using techniques such as TIG, MIG, Stick, and flux-cored arc welding.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine welding requirements and specifications.
• Assemble and fabricate vessels, including cutting, shaping, and fitting metal parts to ensure precise alignment and assembly.
• Inspect welds for quality and adherence to specifications using tools like gauges, micrometers, and visual inspection techniques.

• Follow safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) to ensure a safe working environment.
• Adhere to industry standards, codes, and regulations related to vessel construction and welding.
• Maintain and troubleshoot welding equipment, ensuring it is in good working condition.

• Maintain accurate records of welding operations, materials used, and time spent on tasks.
• Report any equipment malfunctions, safety hazards, or deviations from specifications to the supervisor or manager.

Skills:

• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.
• Strong knowledge of welding safety practices and procedures.
• Ability to perform precise and accurate welding work on various types of vessels.

Requirements:

• +2 years experience
• Must be Welder Certified
• Legally authorized to work in the USA.
• Able to pass Drug and Alcohol Test.
